Then don’t forget to enter the annual Guaranteed White Christmas contest held by the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Department and Jefferson City Sub Shop.

One lucky family in Mid-Missouri will win a truck load of snow from the Washington Park Ice Arena — made of ice shavings from the arena’s ice resurfacing machine — that will be delivered to their door on Dec. 23.
To enter, complete an entry form from participating sponsors or at parks offices at the Linc, 1299 Lafayette St., and watch the weather forecast at 6 p.m. Dec. 20. If your name is drawn, you’re guaranteed a white Christmas!
To be eligible, you must live within a 15-mile radius of Jefferson City. Winners also receive a two-hour private group rental at the Washington Park Ice Arena that includes party subs from the Jefferson City Sub Shop.
