Allison Whittle selected the HER Magazine featured artist
Isolation in times of COVID-19 by Allison Whittle
After receiving numerous art submissions, 17-year-old Allison Whittle was selected as the featured artist for the May/June HER Magazine.
A junior at Tuscumbia High School, Whittle has been practicing art her entire life, beginning with drawing princesses and animals in her sketchbook as a child. She now enjoys acrylic painting and pencil sketching.
Whittle draws inspiration from animation, particularly Disney and Cartoon Network, and she hopes to study illustration at an art institute after high school. To see more of Whittle’s work, visit her website.
